On top of all this, you will be able to work remotely if you have at least 3 years of legal aid costs experience or hybrid at one of the firm's many office locations if not, which means no long commute and being stuck in traffic for an hour, a massive saving on travel costs if you are currently heading into the office and ultimately more time to spend doing what you love most.
As the successful Legal Aid Costs Draftsman You can expect to be involved with both claimant and defendant work of a legal aid nature. The firm is currently turning work away they are that busy due to reputation, so you would be enabling them to process that work meaning this role is very secure and part of a large expansion for the firm over the coming years.
You will receive first class training conducted in-house and access to the best systems like Costs Master. You should ideally have at least 1 years’ experience in legal aid costs work of any sector, it would be an advantage if you have experience with high costs / hourly rate case plans.
You can expect a base salary of between £23,000 - £45,000 depending on your experience level and the firm will consider full time or part-time applicants.
