Costs Draftsperson

**About The Role**:

DAS Law has an excellent opportunity for a Costs Draftsperson to join our growing Legal Costs Team in our high-performing Complex Department on a permanent basis.

This is a varied and exciting role, and your key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Senior Costs Lawyer in significantly reducing the sums expended by DAS Law on external costs lawyers;
- Maximising the sums recovered through the budget and billing process;
- Managing costs budgeting work within Complex, together with statements of costs, bills of costs and ad hoc costs advice as required;
- Drafting of any external costs advocate instructions;
- Assisting with the implementation and testing of any new costs based VisualFiles processes and precedents;
- Acting as a referral point for costs queries that arise internally and undertake research on costs related issues.
