Thank you for the interest that you have shown in becoming our Head of Safety, Risk and Patient Experience. This is a critical role which contributes to the oversight of effective clinical governance at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust.

Reporting to the Deputy Director Of Integrated Governance you will visibly lead, promote and embed clinical governance practice within the organisation. You will support the Deputy Director Of Integrated Governance and Director of Integrated Governance in ensuring that the Trust has a robust clinical governance infrastructure in place which complies with relevant best practice and legislation.

To lead on and plan the Trust’s Compliance, Risk Management, Patient Experience, Volunteer and Patient Safety programmes. To lead on the individual strategies and ensure these programmes and their planning are aligned with the overall Trust Strategy. The post holder will lead on all aspects of the programmes and their planning including professional standards, governance, safety and quality in collaboration with the Care Groups.
