We are currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join our Debt Recoveries team in our Banbury office.

**Job Role**
This varied role is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly and approachable team, working with highly experienced Secretaries, Solicitors, and Directors.
Responsibilities of the role would include, but are not limited to:
- Providing a pre-legal service to clients.
- Answering incoming calls from both clients and debtors.
- Taking new instructions from clients, with the ability to set up a new matter if required.
- Issue claims using a statement provided by the client and entering judgement on client’s instructions.
- Reconciliation of ledgers, paying out to clients weekly and monthly, adhering to SAR.
**Knowledge & Skills**
- Collections or Credit Control experience - Essential
- Solid understanding of IT platforms - Essential
- Good understanding of client relationship management - Essential
- Previous experience within a legal support or administrative role - Desirable
- Understanding the Legal Process and Enforcement options available - Desirable
