We are currently recruiting for a Litigation Assistant to join our Debt Recoveries team in our Banbury office.
This exciting position at our growing and ambitious law firm in the heart of England will be working in the International Debt Recovery team.

**Job Role**
This varied role is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly and approachable team, working with highly experienced Secretaries, Solicitors, and Directors.
Responsibilities of the role would include, but are not limited to:
- Answer incoming calls from clients, debtors, and agents.
- Paying suppliers invoices.
- Use various search tools such as Companies House, Insolvency Register, Land Registry.
- Informing clients of the best way to proceed on matters.
- Sending bills to clients.
- Identify vulnerable debtors and handle the file appropriately.
**Knowledge & Skills**
- IT literate - Essential
- Analytical skills - Essential
- Credit Control Experience - Desirable

- Works well as a member of a team
- Pays attention to detail - working with different currencies, client entities, etc.
- Holds a flexible approach
- Able to prioritise workload
- Punctual, honest, and trustworthy
- Excellent communication skills
- Understands confidential nature of the environment
- Ability to examine correspondence from debtors and agents thoroughly before referring to clients and obtaining instructions
- Diplomatic
- Understands requirements under Data Protection Act (GDPR)
