**The opportunity**
Join our top UK sales team as a Graduate Energy Sales Consultant. We’re looking for a self-starter with a winning attitude, who is motivated and consistently drives to meet targets. You’ll have a passion for helping businesses and use this passion to build relationships with new clients and have the strategic discipline to grow your portfolio through proactive customer engagement.
**What exactly will you do?**
As a Graduate Energy Sales Consultant, you’ll engage various activities such as:
- Cold calling potential clients and explaining the benefits of using NGP’s services and solutions - we want someone who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone. This is a B2B role (Business to Business)
- Question their current procurement and energy management strategy to determine appropriate solutions.
- Tender preparations and supplier negotiations. Once you’ve generated the lead, you will work effectively with your closer who will be required to prepare tenders to our panel of energy suppliers and negotiate the best procurement contract for your clients.
- Manage client relationships. Once you have started to build your client portfolio, you will act as their single point of contact - managing their accounts and monitoring your pipeline for renewal or further business opportunities.
- You must comply with all policies & procedures.
You will receive a thorough onboarding experience that includes in depth industry knowledge and sales training, preparing you with the tools to confidently acquire your first client.
After this, you’ll be equipped to develop and manage your own client portfolio, enjoying a great deal of independence in organising your time and work schedule.
