We are looking to appoint a well organised Ultrasound Admin Coordinator to help provide a professional, efficient and high quality support for the Ultrasound department.

You will be based in the Outpatient clinic area and will line manage a team. Your main responsibilities will be to organise and prioritise within the Ultrasound administration office. This entails booking patients in line with pathway targets, to ensure Ultrasound capacity is fully utilised and to provide training and development for the team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Main duties of the job

To support the management of a professional administration and reception service to Ultrasound and to all of its users including patients, relatives and colleagues.

**Qualifications**:
Essential criteria
- Educated to A Level or NVQ Level 3 Customer Service/Business Admin/ITQ or equivalent.Desirable criteria
- Team leader/management qualification.Experience

Experience of working in a busy clerical/office environment or reception service.

Administrative experience.

Prioritising, planning and organising own tasks.

Working within guidelines.

Experience of dealing with difficult situations and confrontations.

Data entry experience and documentation.

Experience of IT packages.

Previous experience of working in the NHS.
