A rare opportunity within a senior level position has arisen at East Sussex Healthcare Trust as we are looking for an Associate Director of Performance Improvement.

This position will put our patients at the heart of everything we do by ensuring that we have a reporting and performance management framework in place which informs and enables the Trust to deliver exceptional high quality care.

The role will set the strategic direction for Performance Improvement through high level analysis and reporting, to ensure that performance is easily understood, that plans are on track and where they are not mitigating actions to recover performance are identified through the operating divisions. It will also deliver a single version of the truth, working closely with the Business Intelligence team to support the delivery of a self-serve suite of business intelligence tools and information, as well as business insight which informs decision making across the Trust.

The post holder will be responsible for shaping the Trust’s performance scorecards, processes and meetings, producing high quality analysis, diagnosis, and outputs to support informed senior decision making across the Trust and ensure that the it has robust operational plans and is able to identify and report progress against them.

Our ideal applicant will have extensive experience of operational management where they are able to demonstrate a deep understanding of reporting metrics as well as evidence of delivering performance and service improvements. Project and change management skills will also be important. They will be able to demonstrate experience of leading relationships with strategic third-party partners and engaging with senior stakeholders, so well-developed influencing and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
