Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced logistics professional to lead our operations team in the UK, ensuring the smooth delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  2. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across the business, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  3. Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the success of the team.
  5. Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  6. Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory, ensuring accurate forecasting, and minimizing stock levels.
  7. Cost Control: Analyze and control costs associated with logistics operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  8. Safety Culture: Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
