THE ROLE

Our Paddlesport Course Coordinators develop and plan training programmes to create effective and deployable paddlesport trainers and managers. They manage all aspects of our paddlesports training courses from line managing the paddle trainers, budget, paddle training equipment and administration of the courses themselves.

Reporting to the National Governing Body Course Director, you key responsibilities will include:
Supervise any agency or temporary paddlesports instructors on an adhoc basis

Budgeting for paddlesport training, planning, and managing capital spending for equipment.

Managing and maintaining paddlesport training equipment and vehicles

Organisation of daily training logistics, including the safe facilitation of site trips, including multiple vehicles and occasional expeditions.

Organise with centres the hosting of paddlesport course delegates with their accommodation and catering requirements

Communicating with third-party providers to plan course delivery for calendar year training needs.

Working with the NGB Course Director to ensure delegate numbers meet business headcount requirements

Working with Centres and Resourcing to advertise and fill course spaces.

Maintain British Canoe Union qualifications and experience to provide internal trainer sign-off to PGL centre
paddlesport trainers.

IS THIS YOU?

A minimum of 3 years of training/coaching experience
A minimum of 3 years of management experience in a People Development or Operations role, including improving the performance of a team.

Willingness to travel and overnight centre visits and occasional weekend work

Full UK Driving License
