Now Education wish to appoint several **Learning Support Assistants **to support children with complex and profound learning difficulties.

We support an outstanding Special School that caters for pupils with complex and profound learning difficulties. These include severe autism, complex medical conditions, physical and mobility difficulties, as well as severe developmental delay.

**Duties include**:

- To assist pupils with dress/changing for activities/personal hygiene
- To support individual and group work assigned by the teacher in raising core skills, support individual education plans (IEP/ISPs)
- The care and welfare of pupils to include toileting and feeding as required
- Escorting pupils around the school premises
- General support to pupils with complex and profound multiple learning difficulties
- To be aware of and maintain school policies and procedures
- Preparation of rooms, equipment and displays
- To maintain routine
- To promote high standards of behaviour throughout school in accordance with the Behaviour Policy
- To support the ethos of the school
- To maintain a safe environment

**The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check or provide a DBS that is on the update service and 2 satisfactory references.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £80.00-£115.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Special education Needs: 1 year (preferred)
- Classroom Support: 1 year (preferred)
