About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Teaching Professional, you will be responsible for providing 1:1 behaviour support to pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing appropriate structures to manage challenging behaviour
  • Providing nurture support and positive role modeling
  • Delivering numeracy and literacy booster sessions out of the classroom
  • De-escalating heightened and volatile situations

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS Child and Adult Check on the update service
  • 2x References required
  • Teaching Assistant – Level 2 Qualification or similar

Working Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm (day to day, short & long term) – Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays after work.

Estimated Salary: £85 per hour (dependent on experience)
