Smile Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis in primary schools across Oldbury. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and development.
Role OverviewYou'll work across various primary schools in Oldbury, providing teaching and learning support to students and teachers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Assisting pupils with their individual learning needs, including SEN support.
- Working with small groups or 1:1 with students to provide targeted learning support.
- Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a primary school setting is preferred.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their education.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
