We are seeking to appoint a highly organized and resilient Project Administrator to join our dynamic team at MJF Specialist Flooring Ltd.
As a Project Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the successful resourcing of various projects within the business. You will support the Project Manager and play a critical role in coordinating project activities, monitoring progress and ensuring that the flooring team are supported so that projects complete on time and in budget.
**MUST HAVE WORKED IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY IN SOME CAPACITY**
**Responsibilities**
- **Project Support**
Provide administrative support to the Project manager and flooring team to ensure that project goals and objectives are achieved. Update comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation and budget requirements.
- **Project Co-ordination**
Co-ordinate project activities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration amongst team members and external partners. Provide updates to the Project Manager and address any issues or challenges that arise on site during the course of project works.
- **Documentation and reporting**
Maintain accurate project documentation including project plans & folders, schedules, purchase orders & costings.
- **Resource Management**
Work with existing and source new providers of materials & services required for project execution. Monitor resource availability ensuring efficient use of equipment and materials. Collaborate with other departments to secure necessary resources. Identify potential savings when possible.
- **Risk Management**
Proactively monitor project activities to identify and address any issues. Liaise closely with site teams and escalate issues as needed to the Project Manager. Work with clients, suppliers and team to resolve them in a timely manner.
- **Quality Assurance**
Ensure that project administration and service standards meet quality standards and client expectations. Conduct regular audits of processes and implement corrective action when necessary. Seek regular feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into project processes.
- **Budget Monitoring**
Track project expenses and work within project budgets. Collaborate with the Project Manager and finance department to monitor project financials review invoices. Identify opportunities for cost savings.
- **Continuous Improvement**
Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery processes. Recommend and implement improvements with the Project Manager to process map workflows, increase efficiency and optimize project outcomes.
**Requirements**:
- Business Administration or Project Management/support qualifications (Desirable) equivalent work experience at least 3 years preferred.
- Proven experience in project coordination or related roles within the construction industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexible and reactive can-do attitude with high level of self-motivation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with the resilience to navigate challenges.
- Analytical skills to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement.
**Salary**: £22,882.00-£25,000.00 per year
