**Job Title: Construction Buyer / Administrator**

**Location**: North East, UK
**Salary**: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Beaumont & Angus Construction is a leading property development and construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Buyer / Administrator to join our dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Duties**:

- Source and procure construction materials and services in line with project requirements and budgets.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and quality of materials.
- Monitor market trends and competitor strategies to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and inventory levels.
- **Administrative Tasks**:

- Manage back-office administrative tasks related to procurement and project management.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
- Handle general office duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role within the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction materials, market trends, and industry regulations.
