Allan Reeder Ltd have an exciting opportunity available for a HR Advisor to join the company based in Feltham.

**What you’ll be doing**:
- To provide first line generalist HR advice, interpreting the appropriate HR policies and procedures, with a view to resolving matters on advice.
- Prepare contracts of employment and offer letters, and/or any applicable supporting documentation for new starters. Ensure all paperwork is completed and returned to the company in a timely manner.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as the setup and maintenance of personnel files, updating relevant databases and trackers, respond to reference requests, compiling and maintaining a file of template HR letters and forms.
- Lead on the induction process for new starters by ensuring the applicable practical information regarding organisational procedures has been provided. Where applicable, ensure that the relevant training has been provided to new employees in correlation with their job role, i.e Health & Satefy training.
- Work with management to understand and process sickness absence on the HR systems, advising on follow up processes as a result of absence.
- Analyse relevant information in relation to sickness absence and convey to the management team from HR Systems to support the reduction of absenteeism. Collate appropriate absence data and instigate formal meetings or processes where required.
- Support the disciplinary/grievance process including arranging and attending informal/formal meetings and hearings (with the exclusion of potential dismissal cases) with the relevant senior manager or Director ensuring that all paperwork work is accurate.
- Take notes at meetings as required.
- To provide HR and admin support to internal and external investigating officers in the management of casework; specifically investigations into conduct, capability and grievance matters.
- Administrate holiday bookings and monitor bookings for compliance with the annual leave/holiday policy.
- To support the Director with admin support on organisational change such a redundancy or restructure within departments as required.
- Provide admin support to the Directors as required, and attend meetings as required.
- Contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures in accordance with the legal framework of employment legislation.
- Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and human resources best practice, knowledge sharing with other HR team members and management.
**What we're looking for in our HR Advisor**:
- Minimum CIPD level 3/5 or equivalent experience.
- Good working knowledge of employment law and ACAS code of practice.
- Some experience in advising and managing employee relations issues (disciplinary and grievance)
- Previous experience in a HR role, either standalone or within a team
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Ability to work accurately at a fast pace, adapt to changing circumstances on own initiative, prioritise and work to deadlines.
- Strong IT skills and confident in using office365 and Teams
- Ability to build and sustain good relationships
- Excellent attention to detail
- A professional telephone manner and excellent written communication skills
