About the job

Our Service Repairs workshop in Camberley is highly regarded by our customers in the UK and our colleagues around the world. The overall objective for the Planning Administrator is to plan and prioritise the workload for the Camberley Service Centre operation; monitor KPI’s, control order progress and identify potential process improvements.

Your main work activities will be:

- Administering workload for Service Centre activities
- Scheduling workloads in line with job priority, contractual obligations, and customer expectations
- Creating daily and weekly work schedules and communicating with workshop Managers and Section Heads
- Communicating changes in schedule to Technical Sales team for onward communication with customer
- Supporting the workshop team in quoting lead times for repairs based on current work loads
- Liaising with workshop supervisors to plan scheduled maintenance in advance and communicate planned downtime with Technical Sales
- Collation and reporting of KPIs
- Attend daily meetings, produce daily and weekly progress reports
- Creation and closure of job documentation
- Simple data analysis of repair times and activities

Who you are

You have great organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple changing priorities. You have good commercial awareness, this is an important part of this role, and the ability to communicate changes to customers, technical sales and workshop staff is essential.

What you know

You have a high degree of computer literacy, particularly using MS excel to a good level and you will be confident learning new systems.

Ideally you will have worked in a similar role, providing planning and scheduling work for a variety of teams preferably within a service repairs environment, however manufacturing, processing or logistics could also have given you the background skills required.
