Executive Assistant to Chief Executive

**Executive Assistant to Chief Executive**:
Reporting to the Chief Executive, we are looking for someone to provide a comprehensive support service to the Chief Executive to ensure that all aspects of the business run smoothly and are compliant with governance requirements. This role will provide strategic support to enable the Chief Executive to deliver on key projects as well as ensuring that day-to-day operations are run effectively and efficiently.
The role will be hybrid, with 2/3 days required in the office.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities include**:
Acting as an extension to the Chief Executive anticipating, coordinating and managing all their needs
Providing professional, confidential and strategic support to help the Chief Executive to act effectively and efficiently at all times
Providing strategic inbox management, diary planning as well as the management of and preparation for meetings
Deal with routine matters and make decisions on matters stemming from internal and external colleagues, ensuring that the Chief Executive is status aware at all times
Preparing from scratch, proofing and editing communications, board reports, internal and external presentations, key team briefings and any other relevant documents
Providing an efficient and effective secretariat function for the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and other meetings attended by the Chief Executive
Handling FOIs and official correspondence on behalf of the Chief Executive
Carrying out key research as requested by the Chief Executive
Managing the company credit card process, managing approvals, forecasting spend and tracking invoice payments, seeking the relevant approvals to ensure prompt payment of supplier invoices
Any other tasks considered necessary to provide an exemplary service to the Chief Executive.
**Key Skills & Requirements**:
GCSE in Maths and English
Experienced administrator with proven track record of supporting at Chief Executive, Finance Director level etc.
Excellent written and presentation skills. Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills
Ability to quickly assess and triage incoming business and act on behalf of the Chief Executive
Highly organised with strong attention to detail, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
