Theatre Surgical Team Lead

You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our experienced Theatre Manager, Eve.
You will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of all aspects of clinical and non-clinical work within the Surgical service ensuring the provision and delivery of consistently high standards of care and safety.
You will perform managerial duties but also work as part of the clinical team within the department to provide clinical leadership. You will also be responsible for managing elective and emergency situations within the department and providing first line care as a clinical expert where appropriate.
**About You**
You will be a part 1 registered NMC Nurse with experience of being a theatre practitioner in a theatre, or a HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner.

If so, we are looking for an experienced **Quality Lead** to join our South West London Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) team. Working closely with the **Senior Service Manager**, **Governance Manager** and London **Clinical lead**, we would look to you to ensure our processes are efficient and consistent, so that we can provide a quality patient experience.
You will help us to ensure our **Out of Hours / Clinical Assessment Services** are fully compliant with the requirements in our **internal policies, CQC standards and NHSE guidelines** and provide assurance to the Senior Management. You will be working with the management/supervisor team to complete improvement plans and implement policy changes.
You will lead on collating and presenting the monthly **Quality Assurance Meetings**, as well as develop, coordinate and disseminate weekly and monthly Quality Dashboards, **internal monthly feedback**, lessons learned and improvements delivered. This in turn will help develop quarterly commissioner learning reports. You will also deliver **effective and efficient feedback** through our systems, both positive and constructive.
This role will be based in **Putney, **with travel to other **PPC sites as needed across North West & South West London.**
**This is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week, including some out of hours work for site inspections.**
**About You**
- Be able to carry out the duties of the post and effectively use the required IT system
- The post holder is required to possess a combination of knowledge, skills and experience to A- Level/Diploma level or equivalent standard.
- Demonstrable experience relevant to the role
- Attention to detail.
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office suite).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with a high degree of integrity.
- Good analytical and data interpretation skills
- Works well under pressure and able to organise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge and experience of working within clinical governance systems and an understanding of issues associated with PALS, Incidents and Complaints management in the NHS.
- Experience of working within a multi-professional / multi-agency environment.
- Previous use of Datix for managing complaints, incidents and/or PALS
