Job Title: Registered Theatre Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Theatre Nurse to join our team at University Hospital Plymouth NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our operating theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires precision, teamwork, and a dedication to upholding the highest standards of patient care. As a Registered Theatre Nurse, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining sterile equipment, assisting surgeons during operations, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team
  • Participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement and maintain agreed standards of care
  • Follow Codes of Professional Practice and provide high-quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Peri-Operative Environment
Requirements:
  • Have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse in Theatres within the last 3 years
  • Be registered with the NMC
