Role Insights

This position as a Theatre Nursing Specialist is crucial within surgical teams, ensuring the seamless execution of surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining sterile environments, assisting surgical teams, and prioritizing patient safety throughout operations. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing for effective management of work hours while providing essential support in high-pressure settings.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Providing skilled clinical and technical support as part of the operating theatre team.
  • Engaging in the assessment of patient care needs and upholding agreed standards of care.
  • Delivering high-quality care to patients in the peri-operative environment, adhering to professional practice standards.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a theatre setting.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
