**About the job**:
We pride ourselves on the market leading quality of housing and high level of service we deliver. We are now recruiting for a Compliance Administrator to join the team to assist in managing compliance across our student properties across the Portfolio.

**Key responsibilities**
- To provide administrative support for all areas of compliance, including gas and electrical safety, water management, asbestos, lifts, fire safety, and all other areas of mechanical and electrical services.
- Ensure that servicing/risk assessments are carried out on time, appropriate certification is loaded onto the IT systems and remedial actions are progressed, monitored, and accurately recorded.
- Raising/scheduling works orders and ensuring that Jobs raised are monitored and closed/followed up.
- Carry out audits of our compliance documentation on a regular basis.
- Monitor the program of in-house compliance testing including PAT, legionella, and fire detection testing.
- Standardise procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with (ANUK) National Code of Standards.
- Assist with the development of health and safety/compliance policy and procedures.
- Use systems to report KPIS and budgetary information.
- To ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with relevant legal and regulatory standards, contract specifications, quality and performance standards.
- Promote and reinforce the key attributes of a strong safety culture.
- Work with and support the Portfolio Managers and Maintenance Co-ordinators with compliance related matters.

**Experience & skills**
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong team working and management skills as well as able to work independently and self-motivate
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, excel and word
- Keen interest in a career within compliance
- Prior experience working within compliance desired but not essential

**Remuneration & Benefits**:
**Hours**: 09.00am - 6pm Monday to Friday with ability to work flexible hours (including some weekends)

**Salary**: £22,000 DOE per annum plus discretionary bonus

**Location**: Salford, Manchester

**Requirements**: Satisfactory references and a DBS check required.

**Equipment**: Company laptop iPhone & iPad provided
