Commercial Director/Warehouse manager.
- **Location**_

Alutech Warehouse location; Unit 1, Holly Lane, Erdington, B24 9PD.
- **Job Role**_

Reporting into the Commercial Director/Warehouse manager. To assist with the input of orders onto the system, placing orders with UK suppliers and dealing with customers
- **Key Tasks**_
- General Administration, including filing, etc.
- Dealing with internal and external invoicing.
- Placement of purchase orders with UK suppliers, control of delivery time, dealing with any backorders, shipping documents, submission of payments documents to the finance department, etc.
- Written communication with UK suppliers, controls of purchasing and raising complaints of quality/shortfall issues, etc.
- Drawing up delivery schedules and liaise with the warehouse manager.
- Delivery planning and liaising with customers.
- Entering orders correctly onto the internal system.
- Be the go-to person for delivery terms/lead times for materials.
- Co-operation with sales dept for anticipated delivery dates to customers.
- Drawing up shipping/delivery schedules for the warehouse.
- Cooperation with the finance department in terms of client credit control.
- Arrange return of re-usable containers/stillages from clients.
- Be an Alutech brand ambassador and always reflect company values.
- **Essential Skills**_
- Excellent customer service skills, including experience of dealing face-to-face, via telephone, E-mail and with the use of Skype and Microsoft Teams.
- Very well Organised.
- Experience in customer service/procurement for at least 3 years.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent team working skills.

**Salary**: £34,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- BIRMINGHAM: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Procurement: 2 years (required)
