Assisting with maximisation of the sale and profit across the organisation through the development and delivery of excellent customer service and operational standards, the administrator also contributes to the provision of quality services by providing complex and confidential support in a professional manner

**Key responsibilities / accountabilities**
- Sales Ledger - Generating daily, weekly and monthly sales invoices from delivery notes and reports provided from sales team.
- Credit control, ensuring that all debtor accounts are up to date, chasing up payments. issuing customer statements and dealing with any queries where necessary.
- Ensuring credit limits and credit insurance limits are kept up to date with information provided by 3rd part providers.
- Purchase Ledger - Matching and processing high volumes of purchase invoices and posting onto SAP, checking and matching to goods receipts and dealing with any queries where necessary.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Maintain and set up of business partners. (Customer and Suppliers)
- Processing of bank transactions on SAP daily and monthly reconciliations.
- Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts ensuring sales and purchase ledger transactions are closed down in a timely manner (also assisting with processing of journals on SAP, accruals, prepayments, depreciation)
- Submission of VAT returns
- Payroll - Assist with the processing payroll across the group.
- Other adhoc tasks as and when required within the team.

**Essential skills / competencies / qualifications **(_that are considered critical to the effective performance of the role)_
- Maths GSCE grade C or higher
- English GCSE grade C or higher
- Demonstrate IT skills with Microsoft Excel, Access & Word essential
- High level of accuracy
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Good time management skills
- Ability to prioritise a range of different tasks
- Ability to meet monthly deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Accounting / Finance qualifications / experience
- Knowledge / experience of SAP Business One software
- The ability & willingness to learn quickly and adapt and to enable cover of other roles during holiday and busy periods
- To be responsive, self motivated and innovative.
- The desire to advance within the accounts function

Pay: £23,200.00-£27,000.00 per year
