Our busy Operational Resourcing team are quite literally the **heart at the centre of our dynamic business** Based at King's Cross, our team of roster clerks, team leaders and managers juggle the schedules of our most vital teams. They co-ordinate the **staff who run our trains, stations and platforms**, and ensure that our passengers get where they need to go.

As an Operational Resourcing apprentice, you'll be the **future of this vital function**. As well as your structured apprenticeship learning, your role will include:

- Assisting in **preparing, posting and updating rosters** for our train crew and customer service staff.
- Preparing and amending weekly base rosters
- Managing **short-notice changes** to the rosters
- Operating an effective and **customer-focused contact** system
- Ensuring that **confidentiality** is maintained at all times
- **Preparing reports **for the management team as required; attending meetings as requested.

On completion of your apprenticeship, you'll have a **formal business/administration qualification**, and a good understanding of what makes the railway run.
