Over in Kingston, we are undertaking the largest housing regeneration programme ever delivered in the borough, building new energy efficient housing that will transform some of our oldest Council owned housing. **About the Role** 1

As an Air Quality Officer, projects you will be working on include:

- Reviewing Air Quality Action Plans and overseeing progress against the actions (for each borough).
- Completing annual status returns and fulfilling the requirements of our DEFRA Air Quality diffusion tube survey.
- Seeking funding for Air Quality initiatives and managing projects whilst actively contributing to pan-London projects where appropriate.
- Managing the air quality monitoring network and liaising with contractors and suppliers.

The Air Quality Officer reports to the Lead Officer in the Pollution Control Team. A working day in Pollution Control is always varied with differing projects and work priorities. It's not all sitting at a desk, we encourage site visits and interaction with residents, consultants, contractors and business. Managing your own diary and case load allows you to work where and when needed
