Contributory pension scheme.Current perks: * Health Shield membership. * Life Assurance. * Employee Assistance Programme.Role:Working within the busy Import and Export operations department reporting to the Airfreight Operations Manager.Experience: * Minimum 3 years freight forwarding industry knowledge. * The role will predominantly be Airfreight Export operations focussed; however, knowledge of Import air and ocean freight operations would be advantageous. * Experience with Cargowise is essentialJob Role & Skills: * Arranging Export airfreight shipments from start to finish. * Booking with selected carriers, processing relevant documentation and processing invoices on time. * Submitting export customs declarations in the system Cargowise. * Hands on approach with all aspects of the forwarding process. * High communication skills and ability to deliver excellent customer service. * Build internal relationships with colleagues and externally with customers, suppliers, and our own overseas colleagues. * Proactive with strong organisation skills. * Building and developing strong customer relationships. * Have the ability to work on your own initiative and without supervision. * Adhere to our ISO compliance regulations. * Knowledge of Airfreight pricing an advantage. * Knowledge of Airfreight Import operations an advantage. * Knowledge of Ocean freight operations an advantage. * Knowledge of hazardous cargo an advantage
