We’re looking for a Head of Central Operations to join our Nisa team here at Co-op.

In this role you’ll report into our new Head of Partner Services. We’ll look to you to provide centralised support for Nisa and our partners, working with a wide range of teams and colleagues to deliver best in class customer service across partner support functions and the partner ordering journey.

Co-op and Nisa came together in 2018, joining two brands with strong ethical identities and a clear community purpose. As Co-op’s wholesale arm, Nisa supports around 1,400 retail partners running over 4,000 independent stores across the UK, with a turnover of around £1.5bn.

**What you’ll do**
- Lead the partner support teams to deliver best in class customer service using feedback and data to shape future decisions
- Make sure that customer service metrics are in line with expectations and keep up to date with market leading CX operations
- Work with the Events Manager and Customer & Comms team to deliver annual and regional events
- Provide support through the Central Operations team, making sure that priorities are in line with business expectations
- Lead on compliance making sure that colleague safety is managed effectively across Nisa
- Manage relationships with relevant external providers, making sure we’re maximising the benefits
- Monitor trading regulations and standards, keeping up to date with any legislation changes and how they impact the business, and creating comms plan for any changes
- Work with key partners to keep business continuity plans up to date
- Manage both payroll and utilities budgets

**This role would suit people who have**
- Experience of leading large teams of colleagues, and of influencing others to get great results
- Great relationship building skills, with the ability to manage a range of partners
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively to people at all levels
- The ability to navigate change, and to deliver it in a compelling way to both direct and indirect reports
- A good understanding of H&S (health and safety), fire safety law and procedures
