About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at beBee Professionals in Scunthorpe, UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus, ensuring consistency and quality in food preparation.
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Ensure seamless kitchen operations during service, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality ingredients.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients, with a focus on innovation and consistency.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
