Job description

Now Education are recruiting for daily, short term and long term supply opportunities starting immediately and in September.

We are looking for special needs teaching assistants to work across Greater Manchester and Manchester.

Now Education works closely with our client schools, providing education staff for support roles.

We are able to offer fixed term contracts and long term cover as well as a flexible day to day approach.

**About the Role**:
We are seeking special needs teaching assistants who can support SEND students aged 11-16 in school settings. We need passionate individuals who want the opportunity to progress in this field and have experience working with individuals with SEND or complex needs.
- Have some experience supporting young people with SEND or complex needs.
- Have an interest in education.
- Be comfortable working with pupils 1:1 basis, providing motivation and support to engage pupils.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £70.00-£80.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- special education: 1 year (preferred)
- classroom support: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
