Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic graduate to join our team as a learning support assistant in a secondary school setting. This role offers an ideal opportunity for individuals with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to gain valuable experience.

The successful candidate will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, providing support and assistance in overcoming barriers to learning. Our team is committed to delivering inclusive education, and we are looking for someone who shares this vision.

This position is based in Manchester, working Monday to Friday during school hours, term time only. A long-term contract is offered, with a competitive salary of £85-£100 per day.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, including those with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and medical needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement tailored plans for pupils.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • A degree in Psychology or a related subject (2:2 or above)
  • Experience or knowledge of SEN, ideally in an educational setting
  • Confidence and enthusiasm, with a genuine love of learning
  • Passion for supporting children with SEN and delivering inclusive education
