Assistant Role in Special Needs Education

This assistant role provides an excellent opportunity to support children or young people with special educational needs in a sixth form college. As a learning support assistant, you will work closely with students, staff, and other professionals to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • AS A LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT, YOU WILL SUPPORT STUDENTS WITH A RANGE OF NEEDS INCLUDING AUTISM, SEMH, DYSLEXIA.
  • YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO A POSITIVE AND SUPPORTIVE COLLEGE ENVIRONMENT BY DEVELOPING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH STUDENTS AND STAFF.
  • YOU WILL DEVELOP PROFESSIONAL SKILLS IN PREPARATION FOR FURTHER STUDY THROUGH PARTICIPATING IN TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES.

The estimated salary for this role is £90,000 per year, based on a 45-week contract and a daily rate of £97.78.
