Therapist / Counsellor for Children and Young People

We are looking for self-employed experienced and qualified therapists to work with us in schools and/ or in one of our local office with individuals supporting children and young poeple with their mental wellbeing using a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as play, art, drama, sand play, Lego therapy as well as talking therapy, teaching them strategies and coping mechanisms that they can use in all aspects of life;
If you are working in a school you will work closely with the school team to develop a programme of therapeutic interventions to support pupils ;
Liaising with and supporting the school staff as well as parents / carers and other professionals, to ensure a systemic collaborative approach to best support the child / young person
Writing clinical notes, planning sessions and updating schools internal systems.
You will be part of a team, supported by clinal lead therapists and attend regular peer support group.

**Salary**: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
