Speech and Language Therapist for Children with Hearing Impairment

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced specialist speech-language pathologist to join our Children's Speech and Language Therapy service in Lincolnshire. This role will involve leading the clinical development of hearing impairment, covering maternity leave.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will assess, diagnose, and treat children and young people aged 0-19 with complex communication differences due to hearing impairment, working across multiple settings and healthcare providers.
  • You will represent the service at Clinical Excellence Networks and other regional meetings focused on hearing impairment.
Key Requirements:
  • A recognised SLT degree
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • Evidence of postgraduate training in specialty to masters level or equivalent
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD
  • Basic IT skills
Essential Experience:
  • Demonstrable in-depth experience in specialist area
  • Knowledge of clinical governance activities
  • Experience of working in the NHS
  • Experience of independent working and caseload management
  • Experience of supervision and team leadership
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is between £42,000 and £62,000 per annum. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including generous annual leave and pension contributions.
