We are excited to offer a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist the opportunity to join our team at The Laurels on a part-time, permanent basis.

In this role, you will deliver a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapy service, managing and prioritising a caseload of patients with highly complex speech, language and communication impairments and swallowing difficulties.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions that complement working in a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation unit.
  • Deliver goal-focused, intensive MDT therapy in a person-centred, meaningful way.
  • Further develop your skills and knowledge working with clients who have complex cognitive-communication, language and speech disorders following brain injury, both 1:1 and in small therapy groups.

**Requirements:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Previous experience working within neurorehabilitation.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
