Pro currently has an exciting opportunity to join its Insurance Services team as a Delegated Underwriting Specialist in the Delegated Bordereau area.

The job holder will be responsible for meeting new clients, transition and onboarding of new work and being a specialist in delegated to assist clients with issues, challenges and recommending process efficiencies.

Pro operates a hybrid working model, with time split working from home and either our Gloucester or Liverpool office.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist in responding to new client enquiries, discovery meetings, assisting in set ups of teams, delivery of training and meeting client expectations as a new outsource provider.
- Being available to work alongside clients to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs. Support the Team Manager with daily and weekly client reports & offer further knowledge and support with the weekly Client calls.
- Developing and building upon existing client relationships and being the main point of contact, dealing directly with clients in a collaborative and professional manner.
- Deliver training to new members of the team. Review and produce detailed and robust training plans for in office and remote training
- Provide hands on technical Quality Control support to ensure the team is achieving client SLA’s.
- Contribute to new business projects and support pitches. Support consultancy projects.
- There may be some team management for small teams involved.

**Skills and Experience**
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent technical skills and ability to prioritise the workload of the team to meet deadlines.
- Good corporate financial awareness and pro-active understanding of team utilisation, together with experience of using workflow tools to monitor, measure and act upon performance management information.
- Good understanding of London market systems and procedures.
- An understanding of the Lloyd’s insurance market and processes essential.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in the (re)insurance market. Within a Service Provider or an operations leadership role within a Managing Agent desirable.
- Experience of various Underwriting platforms and document management systems is desirable.
- Excellent communication and people management skills essential.
- Strong experience in working with Microsoft packages including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Essential to be able to maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and clients.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
