We are currently looking for a **HR & Payroll Administrator** to join us at our Halfords site at Crick, Northampton. Here you will be responsible for the accurate processing of employees personal and pay data into the HR systems, to enable accurate payroll processing and maintenance of accurate electronic people data.
This role is being offered on a part-time, permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 09:30 - 14:30.
**Pay, benefits and more**:
You’ll be paid a salary of £12,321 per annum, you’ll also receive 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). You’ll have access to a workplace pension, a Halfords discount card and our GXO University which provides you the opportunity to learn new skills and gain qualifications at a pace that you’re comfortable with.
**What you’ll do on a typical day**:
- Responsible for all payroll data and ensuring reports are routinely and proactively checked, with any errors being resolved in a timely manner
- Input and update holiday entitlement, holiday bookings and absence recording on the current TMS system
- Onboarding of new starters including contract production, delivering inductions and ordering uniform
- Respond to general admin queries such as reference requests
- Provide support to the Senior HR Advisor in arranging site engagement activities
**What you need to succeed at GXO**:
- Experience in a fast-paced HR or payroll environment, with experience of T&A systems
- An ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- A collaborative and friendly approach, supported by excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach to work - to get involved in varied tasks across HR & Payroll
