Chesterfield, United Kingdom Gould Alloys Full time

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Loading Purchase Orders and hire works (orders to external suppliers) to the system
- Receiving mill order books, dissecting and challenging information where necessary
- Updating the POs on the system
- Managing order acknowledgments
- Calling off material from mill stocks and arranging delivery
- Dealing with import forwarders to ensure material leaves supplier on time
- Managing safety stock for key consumables for whole business
- Ordering general consumables
- Working as part of the Purchasing Team to ensure the needs of the business are met

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Knowledge of purchasing processing and systems desirable but not essential.
- The role also requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build both internal and external relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail is required with the ability to recognise problems and proactively seek to resolve them. The role will require the manipulation of data and an above average understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work within a small team, adapting to time constraints.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
