Purchase Ledger Clerk
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger adding new suppliers' details to the firm's financial database
- Process invoices, reconciling invoices received
- Coding invoices to projects
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
- Pay out money via BACS
- File invoices and statements
- Investigating purchase ledger queries
- Liaising with suppliers
- Maintenance of the projects module in Sage, checking contract values weekly
- General office duties assisting the finance and administration department
- Administration office cover when required

Skills required
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent time management
- Great communications skills
- Self discipline
- Strong team player
- Good awareness of deadlines
- A calm manner when dealing with clients
- Excellent attention to detail

Good knowledge of software packages such as Excel, Sage, Microsoft

Previous experience essential

Pay depending on experience. Hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.00
