- Would you like to empower Private, Voluntary, and Independent (PVI) Early Years settings across Birmingham to meet the needs of children with SEND?

Birmingham Area SENCo Team require 2 qualified teachers (QTS status) with expertise in Early Years and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) for 4 days per week (0.8 fte)

Our team provides advice and guidance to the Private, Voluntary, and Independent (PVI) Early Years settings across Birmingham in accordance with the SEND Code of Practice (0-25) 2015 and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

This role supports the strategic direction within our Local Authority to improve outcomes for early years children with SEND.

Birmingham City Council is an accredited Disability Confident Leader employer, and we are committed to employing, retaining and developing all of our people.
