Protocol Education is seeking a Specialist in SEND/SEMH Support for a Nursery School.

This institution is a local authority-maintained Nursery School that has consistently achieved an "Outstanding" rating in its recent inspections. Established for over 25 years, the school caters to children aged 2-5 years, with a current enrollment of 168 students. The school is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment where students can thrive, promoting happiness, health, and a positive approach to learning. They believe that every child can excel from an early age and have developed an ambitious curriculum designed to inspire future innovators.

The role involves working within the Reception SEND Provision, focusing on a small group of students aged 4 to 5 who have Special Educational Needs or Disabilities. You will collaborate with fellow staff members and the school's SENCO to ensure that the curriculum is accessible and customized to meet the individual needs of each student. The ideal candidate will possess experience in SEND/SEMH and a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum.

Position: SEND/SEMH Support Specialist

Location: Sandwell (Accessible from nearby areas)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Qualifications: Level 2/3 Early Years Educator preferred, but experience in EYFS, SEND Certificate, and other relevant SEND/SEMH training are advantageous.
