Hotel Receptionist

Due to growth we are currently recruiting for a number of receptionists for Shipquay Hotel.
You will be part of a multi-award winning team
Previous experience as a hotel receptionist is desired but not essential.
**Please note; this job will include some weekend work as the shifts are rotated fairly amongst the team. If this is not possible please do not apply.**
As part of the front office your department is the first and last impression that a guest has of the hotel, so it's your job to ensure it's a superb one. Top of the list of responsibilities is to make sure you're well trained, friendly and offer a warm welcome and speedy, efficient check-in and check-out service for guests
**Key responsibilities**:
- Ensuring the front desk provides a professional and friendly service for customers
- Dealing with customers
- Working directly with management to ensure rooms are allocated appropriately
- Adjusting room packages and deals on hotel software and selling channels
- Liaising with other departments
- Report to Front Office Manager
**Desirable Experience/Qualifications** **3rd level qualification (desirable)**
- _Good telephone skills_
- _Diplomacy and communication skills to handle any complaints and emergencies in a level-headed manner_

- _Hotel software experience_
