Hotel Receptionist

**JOB TITLE**: Receptionist
**RESPONSIBLE FOR**: Providing a friendly, efficient, professional, personalized service and product to all our customers as direct by Management and in accordance with health, hygiene & safety legislation and customer care policies.
**MAIN DUTIES**:
- To maintain the standard of hygiene, presentation, cleanliness and maintenance of the reception area and associated areas at all times.
- To have an in depth working knowledge of all front office procedures, including the computer system, switchboard, reservations and housekeeping procedure.
- To communicate effectively with all departments, managers and team members with accurate information.
- To participate in all training sessions and procedures as provided by the company and management.
- To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health & Safety for yourself, other employees. Customers and any other persons on the premises.
- To ensure customer care policies of the unit are always maintained and to anticipate the needs of the customers.
- To ensure receptionist duty list is completed on all shifts
- To carry out a reception handover to team members at the end of all shifts
- To operate within guidelines of consumer and licensing legislation
- To ensure the security of all forms of monies on the premises including the proper and honest use of all cash/till machines, petty cash floats, currency exchange and credit card machine
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £11.44 per hour
