**Head of HR**:
- **Head Office - Crewe, Cheshire with National travel.**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of HR to lead our organization through a period of transformational change as we implement our ambitious 5-year strategy.
Ideal experience would be managing a people function, change management, organizational design, and support, and overseeing internal recruitment and in-house training. The role is based at the Head Office in Crewe with Sales Depots throughout the UK which including a large transport fleet of 150+ multi-site drivers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives and the 5-year strategic plan.
- Lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the process.
- Drive organizational design efforts to optimize structure, roles, and responsibilities for enhanced efficiency and agility.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify talent gaps and develop succession plans to support business growth and sustainability.
- Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning.
- Implement best practices in HR policies, procedures, and systems to promote consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning, promoting employee development and career progression opportunities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Extensive experience of progressive HR leadership experience, with a focus on change management and organizational design.
- Demonstrated experience leading transformational change in a logistics or distribution environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach and a commitment to driving business outcomes through effective HR practices.
