**HR Administrator**
**Crewe Head Office**
Due to the nature of the work, proactive and positive in your approach to work with the ability to prioritise tasks and work with a degree of self-management and high attention to detail and accuracy in work.
**The role**:
- Prepare supporting documentation and correspondence for managers in disciplinary and grievance cases, may be required to attend meetings as a minute taker.
- Support recruitment activities as required generating new starter paperwork, conducting right to work checks and adding people to the hr system.
- Actively monitor and coordinate probation reviews, ensuring that they are completed to the correct timescales.
- Compile and analyse HR metrics and produce regular and ad-hoc reports as required.
- Complete any administration tasks as required, including but not exclusively, producing invite letters, contract paperwork, electronic filing, keeping our HR system up to date.
- Actively contributing to the HR teams engagement strategy.
- Liaise with the payroll team to ensure any changes are accurately processed for the business.
- Work alongside the HR Team to ensure that all policies and procedures are up to date.
- To monitor the joint hr inbox with the team acting as a point of contact for HR related questions from employees and line managers, escalating more complex queries as required.
- Provide support to the rest of the HR team as required for holiday cover etc.
- Some travel may be required across our depot network.
**What you should be able to bring to the role**:
- Ideally you will be CIPD Level 3 qualified but will consider people who have had HR experience.
- Proven previous experience working in a generalist HR role.
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of the business and with external contacts
- Proactive and positive in your approach to work with the ability to prioritise tasks and work with a degree of self-management.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Flexible, problem-solving approach and strong team player
- Discreet and always maintains confidentiality.
- Good IT literacy, fully conversant in use of Microsoft Office packages
