THE ROLE...

As part of our event project management team, you will be working on the direct planning and delivery of a huge variety of exciting corporate events across the UK.

The role is based around managing every aspect of events from point of sale. This includes:

- Client Engagement - executing excellent customer service and continuing excellent relationships with our clients.
- Communication - Managing handovers from the sales team of multiple events and ensuring a seamless client journey by understanding the exact details of each event to leave the client feeling in safe qualified hands.
- Logistics - planning multiple logistics for multiple events including teams, venues, 3rd party suppliers, conference and meeting requirements, audio visual and 3rd party supplier.
- Conduit - The project manager is the conduit between our sales and operations team. You will be the main client point of contact all the way up to the day of delivery. You will liaise with all parties to ensure everyone is fully briefed, educated and prepared for every aspect of the clients event.
- Organisation - GOTO Events run over 700 events a year. As a project manager you must be able to handle multiple events at one time, especially during the busiest summer months. You must be able to think on your feet, be exceptionally organised, and able to adapt to an ever changing environment.
- Event Delivery - Work as part of the event team to manage every aspect of event planning and delivery from point of sale and during sales process when necessary
- Managing budgets and margins in line with cost of sale as derived by the account manager and detail on all events
- You must have excellent communication skills and be able to manage multiple clients and sometimes demanding needs.
- Self driven and motivated to achieve outstanding results.
- Be confident on the phone, and install a feeling of trust and security amongst your clients.
- Be punctual and not afraid to work varied hours, sometimes out on live events.
- Not afraid to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
- Able to work as part of a close nit team, and be ready to chip in wherever required.
- Have a great attention to detail, and be compulsive about leaving no stone unturned.
- Strong financial planning skills in order to manage and deliver events within budget
- Be a fast learner and creative thinker, having the ability to think outside of the box
- Be flexible to changing working demands
- Have the ability to work to strict and tight deadlines
- Be of strong intellectual ability
- Have good analytical skills
- Be able to build good internal and external relationships
- Have excellent written communication
- Have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as follow direction when required
- Be IT literate with a particular focus Microsoft platforms

**NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY **Although previous experience is beneficial, this job is suited to anyone ambitious, organised and keen to work within the events industry.
