**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Public Protection for a full time Administrative Assistant for **until the end of March 2025**. The role is to provide an efficient and timely administration service to the Complex Domestic Abuse and Stalking Unit in order to maintain the effective management of cases on the new Program for Perpetrators of Stalking in Sussex.

**Key Responsibilities**

Manage the receipt, distribution and progress of all administrative tasking’s and correspondence arising from the team. Initiate timely and appropriate responses that are in accordance with both departmental procedures and project guidelines.

Redaction of digital and documentary evidence for the creation of appropriate records of multi-agency information which meets the required evidential and quality standards of the project.

Administer and minute regular Domestic Abuse and Stalking Case Review Panel meetings.

Upload of digital and documentary evidence to police IT and other partner agency platforms, such as Teams, Visor and E CINS, as required to facilitate review of material by the team.

Collate management information from various sources, interpret the data gathered and calculate any additional statistical analysis required to support departmental accountability and performance.

Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade and character of work as may be reasonably required, including specific duties of a similar or lesser graded post

This vacancy will be based at Hayward's Heath Police station, Sussex, however agile working arrangements are supported.

Skills & Experience

Ability to work calmly, methodically and accurately, using own initiative, while under pressure and with mínimal supervision. Strong attention to detail.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to priorities own workload and work within strict timescales.

Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to respond to correspondence and enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Experiencing of working in a team and contributing to team objectives.

Able to understand and comply with the requirements of GDPR and the management of confidential and personal Information to ensure data privacy.

Experience of working with databases and spreadsheets and of creating and analysing management information.
