We are looking for an experienced Rehabilitation Clinical Support Worker to join the Haywood Hospital Rehabilitation Medicine Outpatient Services including Spasticity, ITB, Amputee Rehabilitation and associated services.

Our clinical & administration teams are the first contact patients have with our services. As such, we value the importance of these roles as the heart of the high-quality care we provide. A commitment to maintaining high standards within a keen sense of teamwork is essential to this position.

The post holder will be required to provide support over a range of service/functions within Rehabilitation Services outpatient / clinical departments with travel between locations and or community settings to ensure smooth admission and discharge of the patients to the service,

You will demonstrate commitment, care and compassion supporting your team with excellent patient care and clinical organisation, in accordance with Departmental, Trust and National standards, policies and procedures actively contributing to the overall success of the services and organisation.

All services within the Rehabilitation Medicine Portfolio at the Haywood / Bradwell Hospital have renowned international reputation and provide services to patients with long term neurological disabilities and limb loss. It is one of the largest consultant led services of its kind in the country and caters for patients from Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire.

**The role of the clinical support worker will**:

- Undertake assigned duties involving direct patient care under the direct/indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse / Therapist and / or Medical staff
- Contribute to the effective day to day running of the Outpatient clinics & / or Rehabilitation Unit by undertaking tasks such as taking observations, manual handling and personal care / activities of daily living tasks, health observations, phlebotomy, chaperoning and clerical duties.

Post holder will be required to carry out any agreed department procedures within the banding and having received training and been assessed as competent to do so.
