Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has emerged to become a part of the esteemed and reputable Rehabilitation Therapy Service within the Rheumatology Division. This role involves working in an Out-Patient setting, where you will function as an independent and specialized practitioner, managing a diverse clinical caseload with a focus on Rheumatology, Musculoskeletal issues, and Trauma and Orthopaedic Hand Rehabilitation. Your interventions will emphasize recovery, education, self-management, and lifestyle guidance for both chronic and acute conditions and injuries. Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team is essential, and strong connections with other service providers are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

We seek an individual who is optimistic, dynamic, and creative, possessing the ability to showcase outstanding communication, organizational, and IT capabilities. You will be expected to demonstrate high-quality clinical skills, along with substantial knowledge and experience in a fast-paced integrated team environment. Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Essential

  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registered with BAOT and current registration with HCPC
  • Membership in the Royal College of Occupational Therapy

Desirable

  • Modules at Master's level and evidence of further clinical study

Experience

Essential

  • Relevant experience in the role, including assessment and management of various conditions within the clinical specialty
  • Ability to effectively manage time and caseload while supporting service users, families, and caregivers in addressing issues within the clinical specialty.

Desirable

  • Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution in clinical settings.
