This is an exciting opportunity for a 12 month secondment to work as part of the Dermatology team supporting an innovate pilot project to support the Faster Diagnosis Standard for patients on the skin cancer pathway.

There are 2 x 18.75 hour posts, 1 based at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital, Derby and 1 based at Queen's Hospital Burton-upon-Trent. Cover may be required cross sites.

You will work closely with a range of staff, including consultants, wider medical teams, nursing teams, outpatient teams, Cancer Centre and operational management teams to support the delivery of key objectives within this pilot project.

Under the guidance and support of team members the post holder(s) will provide vital data entry and administrative support during the pilot. Core responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Develop effective working relationships with all levels and staff within the department and across the Trust to deliver the project outcomes.
- Coordinate and ensure relevant paperwork and resources are available to all clinical teams for the duration of the Faster Diagnosis Standard pilot project.
- Timely and accurate data entry of patient appointment outcomes onto Trust databases.
- Assist in the administrative support in the delivery of the projects including data quality checks and gathering and analysing data.
- Supply information to assist in the reporting of projects using the Trust PMO processes and documentation.
- As required, support the development of IT enhancements as identified with the project scope and objectives.

These roles require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high levels of data entry accuracy and strong organisational skills. Knowledge of cancer pathways, and patient tracking systems would be advantageous, however, training will be provided.
